Step-by-Step Guide: How to Clean and Maintain Your Infinity Shower
Infinity Shower featured in the Concrete Oasis by Ananda x Sandy Vans
Weekly Maintenance
We recommend performing the Infinity CleanCycle and Filter Cleaning Procedures about once per week or about every 5-10 showers.
1. Infinity CleanCycle Procedure
WHEN: Use the Infinity CleanCycle cleaning solution once per week
PURPOSE: Maintains water quality, protects plumbing, extends system life and inhibits calcium buildup sludge, scale, and odors
STEPS:
Turn on the traditional shower and then press the Infinity Shower button to begin recirculating water.
Add 8 drops of Infinity CleanCycle cleaning solution to the water in the shower pan.
Allow it to recirculate for 30 seconds.
Turn off the system.
2. Filter Cleaning Procedure
PURPOSE: Removes trapped debris and cleans filter.
WHEN:
Clean the micron filter every 5-10 showers
Whenever flow decreases or visible sediment is present in the micron filter.
STEPS:
Remove the clear micron filter housing and micron filter.
Disassemble and rinse the micron filter under clean water. Use a soft brush if needed to remove buildup.
The filter can be reused several times and carries a 1-year guarantee.
Reinstall the micron filter and clear housing.
Long Term Maintenance
We recommend doing a deep clean procedure every 3 months or as needed (See below for more details).
Deep Clean Procedure
When: Every 3 months, whenever odors are noticed, or if you suspect the cleanliness of the water supply. If there is a chance that water may be contaminated by disease or pathogens, – or if a prior user may have an illness — it is also strongly recommended to perform a full Deep Clean Cycle before use.
Why: Removes soap scum, calcium buildup, and residue in lines, pumps, valves, and the heat exchanger, and helps protect against potential microbial contamination.
How: Use either the Vinegar or Bleach methods below.
⚠️ Disclaimer: If a Deep Clean Cycle is not performed or maintained as recommended, Infinity Shower is not liable for any issues related to water quality, health, or sanitation.
A. Option 1: Vinegar Method
Perform the Filter Cleaning Procedure (see above).
Turn off the main RV water pump (this way fresh water is not added to shower pan allowing for more concentrated vinegar solution)
Press the Infinity Shower button and open both hot and cold handles (center position if one handle). Note: it will take 25 seconds before water begins sputtering from shower head.
Add ½ gallon of vinegar to the shower pan.
Let the system recirculate the vinegar for 10 minutes. Note: Add more vinegar if air is sputtering from the shower head.
Purge the lines with air:
a) Remove the clear micron filter housing and micron filter.
b) Let the system run for 1 minute - make sure both hot and cold shower handles are open (or if you only have one shower handle, open and place the handle in the center position) this allows air to enter the system and purge residual water. You will know this step is complete when only air is sputtering from the shower head.
7. Press the Infinity Shower button to turn off recirculation. Close traditional shower handles.
8. Turn on main RV water pump.
9. Screw micron filter and clear housing back in place.
10. Allow water and any remaining diluted vinegar to drain from shower pan. (10 seconds)
11. Dilute and flush system of cleaning agent.
Fill Phase - Turn the traditional shower handle on and then press the Infinity Shower button to begin recirculating
Recirculate - After 25 seconds water will begin sputtering from the shower head, let the system run for 30 seconds in recirculation mode and then move to the next step.
Air Enter - While system is running, remove the clear micron filter housing and micron filter to allow air to enter.
Flush - Let the system run for 1 minute - make sure both hot and cold shower handles are open (or if you only have one shower handle, open and place the handle in the center position) this allows air to enter the system and purge residual water. You will know this step is complete when only air is sputtering from the shower
Turn off - With micron housing off, Turn off the Infinity Shower button, and turn off the traditional shower handle.
Drain - Let water drain from the shower pan.
Replace clear micron filter housing and micron filter.
13. Repeat this rinse-and-drain cycle twice to remove residual vinegar odor and ensure thorough flushing. Note: ⚠️ Slight vinegar odor may remain initially this is fine.
14. Deep Clean Complete
B. Option 2: Bleach Method
Perform the Filter Cleaning Procedure.
Press the Infinity Shower button and open both hot and cold handles (center position if one handle). One gallon of fresh water will fill the shower pan automatically.
Add two bleach tablets or ⅓ cup of liquid bleach to the shower pan.
Let the system recirculate the diluted bleach solution for 10 minutes.
While running, remove the clear micron filter housing and micron filter.
Let the system run for 1 minute - make sure both hot and cold shower handles are open (or if you only have one shower handle, open and place the handle in the center position) this allows air to enter the system and purge residual water. You will know this step is complete when only air is sputtering from the shower head.
Press the Infinity Shower button to turn off. The traditional shower will turn back on and water will begin to flow.
Turn off traditional shower by closing handles.
Screw micron filter and clear housing back in place.
10. Dilute and flush the cleaning agent.
Fill Phase - Turn the traditional shower handle on and then press the Infinity Shower button to begin recirculating.
Recirculate- After 25 seconds water will begin sputtering from the shower head, let the system run for 30 seconds in recirculation mode and then move to the next step.
Air Enter- While system is running, remove the clear micron filter housing and micron filter to allow air to enter.
Flush . - Let the system run for 1 minute - make sure both hot and cold shower handles are open (or if you only have one shower handle, open and place the handle in the center position) this allows air to enter the system and purge residual water. You will know this step is complete when only air is sputtering from the shower
Turn off- With micron housing off, Turn off the Infinity Shower button, and turn off the traditional shower handle.
Drain- Let water drain from the shower pan.
Replace clear micron filter housing and micron filter.
11. Repeat step 10 to remove residual bleach odor and ensure thorough flushing. Note: ⚠️ Slight bleach odor may remain initially.
12. Deep Clean Complete
Storage Procedure (Decommissioning)
WHEN: Whenever the system will be stored or not used for more than 5 days.
PURPOSE: Removes trapped debris, purges water from the system, and prepares the Infinity Shower for storage or long-term downtime.
STEPS:
Turn on the traditional shower and then press the Infinity Shower button to begin recirculating water.
Add 8 drops of Infinity CleanCycle cleaning solution to the water in the shower pan.
Allow it to recirculate for 30 seconds.
Traditional shower will turn back on. Then turn off the traditional shower.
Disassemble and rinse the micron filter under clean water. Use a soft brush if needed to remove buildup.
The filter can be reused several times and carries a 1-year guarantee.
Leave the filter housing disassembled when preparing for long-term storage.
LEGAL NOTICE: If there is any chance that the water source or shower area has been exposed to disease, pathogens, or fecal matter, or if you believe a prior user may have been ill, it is strongly advised to perform a full Deep Clean Cycle before using the system. Proper sanitation is the responsibility of the user. Failure to perform or maintain regular Deep Clean Cycles as recommended releases Infinity Shower and its affiliates from all liability regarding water quality, contamination, or health-related concerns resulting from improper maintenance or use.
